Several of you have reminded me that Julie Clark was a Homecoming Queen. Later, in order to pay for her flying lessons, she worked two jobs, waitress and water ski show performer in a white bikini. As she built her aviation ratings, flying hours, and experience, aerobatic air show performer became a major part of her life. She retired from air show performances with a Farewell Tour in 2019. Sharing her beautiful air routine at large venues across America as Sun n Fun and EAA AirVenture.
Here is a 2+ minute retirement tribute by the Experimental Aircraft Association-EAA which previews her “retirement” project. (You may have to paste in your browser)

After her air show retirement, Julie founded Clark’s Canine Care, a 501 © 3 non-profit. https://clarkscaninecare.org/

The mission of CCC is to rescue by airlift canines to safety after natural disasters and also move them to safety from over-crowded shelters to furever homes.
Passion for life runs deep in “red, white, and blue” Julie Clark. Her life reminds me of the quote from one of my favorite philosophers, Dolly Parton, “You’ll never do a whole lot unless you’re brave enough to try.”
